Prenatal Sessions Overview
Prenatal Session #1 – Virtual
The first virtual prenatal session will help you create a clear vision for your birth. We’ll share a Birth Preferences Document to guide you through your options, ensuring you feel informed and ready to create a game plan for an empowered birth experience. (Approx. 2 hours.)
Prenatal Session #2 – Virtual
We’ll practice positioning, coping techniques, and discuss the pushing phase, laboring at home, and “framing your labor.” This session is also a great time to help your partner prepare for their role in your birth. We’ll go over hands-on techniques and the importance of a partner’s loving care during labor.
Prenatal Session #3 – In-Person
This final session focuses on partner support during labor and addressing any final questions or concerns. We extend our support to your birth partner to ensure they feel just as prepared and empowered.
As Your Birth Doula, I Will:
- Be available for email, phone, and text support throughout your pregnancy.
- Be on-call 24/7 starting at 38 weeks (or earlier if medically necessary) and remain available for two weeks postpartum to answer questions, provide referrals, and offer support as you adjust to parenthood.
- Provide in-person labor support at home.
